Load shedding Woes:

This is more than just words, its the feeling of most Pakistani's. It is simply torture! After a period of some relief from unannounced, timed load shedding , summers have once again brought with it the uncontrollable load shedding. At times i wonder maybe its the wrath of God on our nation, other times i try to console myself by thinking about other nations in the world where electricity is still a luxury. But along with this disaster has come opportunities for plenty of people, the UPS and generator industry is thriving. The industry sales just keep on going upwards year by year, after all i don't remember when a generator repairman would tell me that he can't come to my house, or another tellign me that i should call them after a week, but the most surprising one was when i had to hear  "sir, app aney ki baat ker rahey hain, humein  jin logon ney generator la ker diye hain woh hum sey time per sahi nahi ho rahey" (Sir, sending someone to repair the generator is out of the question, we still haven't been able to repair generators which people bring to our workshop on time). This attitude is prevailing due to the increase in the market demand of generators and ups. Once considered a thing of the elite class, generators and ups market have penetrated into  all classes of the society.

As for KESC it is a lost hope for me. Being without electricity for prolonged periods is more than enough for me to hold such an opinion.
